In the world of pop culture, not a distant fairy tale, Beatles enthusiasts experienced a unique and enchanting journey beneath the waves. "Yellow Submarine," launched in the U.S. on November 13, 1968, presented an unprecedented visual and auditory exploration.
The Beatles turned to animation, driven by contractual needs, as a way to produce a film without the demands of live-action filming. Initially met with moderate excitement, they reflected on their previous successes in TV and cinema. Producer Al Brodax, already linked with the Beatles through animated series, along with creative minds like Erich Segal, director George Dunning, and artist Heinz Edelmann, embarked on this ambitious project.
