Beavis and Butt-Head are fictional characters from the animated television series created by Mike Judge. The show, named after the characters, first aired on MTV from 1993 to 1997, with a revival in 2011 and additional episodes in subsequent years.
Beavis and Butt-Head are depicted as two socially awkward, unintelligent, and unmotivated teenage boys who are best friends. They live in the fictional town of Highland, Texas. The characters are known for their crude sense of humor, love of heavy metal music, and distinctive laughter (Beavis's "heh heh" and Butt-Head's "huh huh").
Much of the show's humor stems from the pair's antics and misadventures, often driven by their lack of intelligence and understanding of the world around them. They are typically portrayed as watching music videos on television, making snide and often nonsensical comments about them.
